If you can bother yourself to search for it, please browse Youtube for a user named "rasboi martialarts"; it has a clip named "Aikido in MMA UFC". It's a short clip where two Aikido techniques are displayed, both in ideal demonstration form and "real combat" application.

- The attacking move at
6:27..I doubt even a novice would attack like that unarmed. All these attacks seem one continuous motion. My question is how is an aikido-ka supposed to counter ...say a boxer who just shuffles in and out of range , uses feints, 1-2 combo and again out of range to avoid getting grabbed , even worse what if an attacker is a trained knife fighter ? In short how is an aikido-ka supposed to counter an opponent (armed or unarmed) who changes his tempo constantly and is pretty good with feints ?
P.S. please do not advise me to test it out with an aikido master because I do not have one in my state .
