- Sigh. I love this episode, as I love any Saunders and Hanley episode. Most of it, anyway. Flame me if you want, but I couldn't find the humor in Lovelace forcing unarmed prisoners through a minefield, whether their people set it or not. One prisoner set off a mine and another was too close? If your imagination provides the visuals, not too funny. Isn't that what we were so outraged by, when the German captain wanted to do the same in 'The Hostages'?
- That Garand in the hands of a Georgia country boy would have taken those machine gunners out as well as that Schmeisser. He showed that he could shoot when he shot those two moving Germans on motorcycles.

- Gomer Pyle from Georgia fergits his boots at da crick & gits y'all some krauts.
- I jump around on these episodes, I wouldn't have minded seeing some more Lovelace in some later episodes. With several more weeks experience he'd be a great addition in any platoon...if you can put up with his anti-Yankee sentiments.

- The new movie that me and my saw last week was the best yet.the expendables 3...I think of my father when I saw this movie and the great things that he did for the usa , when he was a young man.or now a days a woman to.keep up the good work in movies, god bless.
- If they were going to bring up the civil war, they might at least have gotten it right. Lee was known to his men as the king of spades because he constantly had them digging in.

was one of the generals plotting strategy for the Vietnam War.
