Dyskusja o COMBAT! s.3 ep.8: "The Little Carousel" (1964)

- Opinie i zdania tu macie
- Too hard to watch. It tears your heart out. So sad.
- Me encanta este episodio... Aunque da mucha penita.. Ojalá estuviera en español... =)
- I GUESS ALL OF US GUYS WHO WATCH COMBAT ARE SOFTIES.I DID NOT EVEN KNOW ABOUT COMBAT UNTIL THE LATE 80,s WHEN THEY STARTED SHOWING RERUNS ON A PARTICULAR CHANNEL EVERY NIGHT WEEKNIGHTS.ALL THE GREAT GUEST STARS IT HAD! THIS EPISODE MADE ME CRY IN MY MID TWENTIES,STILL MAKES ME CRY.I AM AN AVID AVIATION AND MILITARY HISTORIAN.THESE EPISODES WERE SO MUCH BETTER THAN BAND OF BROTHERS,OR SAVING PRIVATE RYAN.
- When a show like this episode in 'Combat' can still effect you after nearly half a century after it originally aired. This is television at its finest hour--poignant, memorable and classic. Heart-rending--Beautiful story. Vic, Margolle bless you both....Roger Michael
- I just this week turned 55 years old. I remember watching the series with my father when I was a child.  It's been wonderful to be able to watch them now as an adult. I cried like a baby while watching this one.  I'm glad no one was hear to see me like that.  I just recently learned how Vic Morrow died.  I was stunned.
- Vic Morrow one of the greatest actors EVER
- The surrealism of war, like the earlier episode about the young woman who couldn't leave the churchyard.  Syrians Margolle as the nurse,
Did French voiceovers later, retired from acting in the 1970s, died Long Island, NY.  (1950-2005).
- Very touching episode.. I cried a river... :(
- Spoiler Alert.... The little nurse may as well have been a new face in red security uniform beaming down with Cpt Kirk. I was wondering how & when her ticket was going to get punched. I knew they weren't going to blow her face off with an MG42 cause of the era so a bloodless mine detonation in the flowers was her exit. The age of innocence & heroics finished in 1945,only horror, rape & jet age napalm was to follow.
- One of the best episodes of Combat. I cried too! What an ending.
- I cried when I watched this episode 50 years ago. I cried again today.
- A young girl having a crush on a older man, tell me that doesn't happen a lot. Neither asked for it,it just happens sometimes innocently like in this situation. But then you have the other weirdo's preying on the young. How cute with the merry go round. Good story...sad ending.
- When there was a global sense that WW2 was the war to end all wars!
- wow watching a war movie the end is almost to much.....great episode
- Morrow really pulled down deep in his skills for that final scene. I knew something was up with her own theme and a face that any camera would love, not mention that laugh...Great work...
- Made me cry seeing the suffering of the Sergeant Saunders to see the little nurse, who just saved her life and the moment where he turns and sees the little carousel and relive the happy times there in that place and for a moment forget that there is war... excellent direction of Bernard McEveety
- Actress Sylviane Margollé, (the little nurse,) was born October 3, 1950, in Paris, France
She died July 12, 2005, Long Island, NY, aged 54, of complications following surgery.
Her IMDB Bio: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0545829/bio
- Just found out Pierre Jalbert died early this year. just 2 or 3 of the crew are left.
- Vic Morrow really made me feel his pain at the end of this episode.  I had to see it a few times before I could watch that ending without crying.
- Wow!
- Więcej ciekawych nie ma już?
